The longest gaps between a stock trade and the first report that disclosed it. Each is stated as days after the trade, with a link to the filing.

How to read this

The gap is the number of days from the trade date to the day the first report holding it was filed. An amended report does not reset it.
The STOCK Act asks for a report within 45 days of the trade. A gap over 45 days is a measured fact about two dates as the member filed them, not a finding about the filer. Dates are as the member filed them; see the House Clerk or Senate eFD record linked on each row.
How days are counted. We count calendar days from the trade date to the first report. We do not adjust for weekends or holidays, so a report filed on the next business day after a weekend deadline is included.
Grouped by report. One report can hold hundreds of trades, so the trade list has one row per report, each opening to its trades. Members are ranked by the longest single gap or by how many reports hold a trade over 45 days, never by the number of transactions.
What is left out. The gap is not computed for 353 of 24,903 trade rows: 229 (the first report that listed this trade is not in our records); 60 (trade dated more than two years before the report); 55 (below the $1,000 reporting threshold); 8 (the dates as filed look inconsistent, with the trade date after the filing date); 1 (the dates as filed look inconsistent, with the trade date in the future). They are left off this page and are never counted either way. Scanned House reports and paper Senate reports have not been read, so a trade in one of them is missing here and nothing is said about its timing. Senate filings are loaded from 2024 and House filings from 2021.

4,410 transactions in 195 reports were filed more than 45 days after the trade, by 112 members. That is 18.0% of the 24,550 trades whose gap we compute.
